Mezcal Benevá, 38%, 70 cl. The Benevá is a pure mezcal agave with "gusano" (that is, there is a caterpillar at the bottom of the bottle). This traditional Mezcal is aged in oak barrels, which gives it its amber color in addition to a woody aroma.

The caterpillar is called "maguey worm" (gusano de maguey), it is a caterpillar that parasitizes the agaves used to make Mezcal which is commonly called maguey. Mezcal Benevá can be taken straight or with ice cubes. It can also be used in mixology, for the preparation of cocktails.
